Main interest area of the group
The Consortium for Rational Cancer Therapeutics (CRCT) is a collaboration of health professionals and cancer researchers in the South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Service (SESIAHS). This cooperative network has been established to focus on improvements in patient care through the rational use of cancer drugs and a coordinated approach to cancer research.

The Consortium supports scientists and clinical researchers within SESIAHS and the Universities of NSW and Wollongong to undertake research from drug development to ‘first in man’/Phase 1 through to Phase 4 clinical trials. Synergies with cancer researchers outside of the SESIAHS area are actively pursued and welcomed.
